Wax FAQ

Waxing FAQ

Everything you want to know but might not ask!

What type of wax do you use?

We use different waxes for different types of hair. The techniques we use protect the client's skin and focus on removing hair with little to no irritation.

What is a Brazilian Wax?

Each brazilian wax treatment is catered to what the client wants. This can range from modest hair removal to complete hair removal in your bikini area. The most common brazilian waxing service results in no hair at all.

Will my hair thin out?

If you become a regular client the answer is yes. Over time the hair follicle repair time slows with regular waxing. Most clients experience 50% less hair by the third appointment.

Do women wax their back side?

Yes. Our experience is that the only women who do not wax their back side are first time waxing clients. Almost 100% of the time these first timers include this area with their second visit.

Does a Brazilian Wax hurt?

There is no waxing that is pain free. The action of pulling hair out of this skin can be painful. We often ask our clients to rate the discomfort on a scale of 1-10. With the first waxing appointment the most common answer is 7. With regular waxing this discomfort becomes incresaingly less to a 3 or 4 on the scale. The decrease in pain is due to the decrease in hair as a whole, the smaller hair size because it is new hair, and lower client anxiety.

No kidding that we have brazilian waxed a client while she was reading a book. She was very familiar with the process and it no longer had an effect on her. This is certainly not common for all but achievable with regular waxing appointments.

Do you brazilian wax men?

Sorry to say but no we do not.
